When will I get my order?
We aim to ship your order within 2-3 business days. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. After despatch of your order, delivery can take around 3-4 business days.
Do you ship to Northern Ireland?
We currently ship across mainland Great Britain only — not Northern Ireland (Royal Mail rules on posting seeds).
I've never grown anything before. Will I actually manage this?
Yes — and that's literally the point. Every Laura Florals Grow Box is built for beginners, with step-by-step grow guides, sowing timelines, and seeds we've specifically chosen because they're hard to mess up. If you can boil pasta, you can grow these. No green thumb required, no gardening experience needed.
Do I need a garden? I live in a flat.
Nope. Our grow kits are designed for small-space gardening — balconies, patios, that one sunny patch on your bedroom floor. The Zing Ping (our indoor herb kit) is happy on a windowsill year-round. The Petal Pop and The Big Veg do best with a balcony, doorstep or sunny patio. Apartment gardening, sorted.
When's the best time to start growing?
Most of our seeds are happiest sown between March and August in the UK, but we publish grow guides with sowing windows on our website so you don't have to remember. Spring bulbs can be planted from October to December. If you're buying outside that window, herbs are your year-round bet — The Zing Ping will grow indoors any month of the year.
What's actually inside a Grow Box?
Each Laura Florals Grow Box contains a packet of container-suited seeds, a recyclable box of seaweed meal, comfrey pellets and sheep's wool pellets for sustained plant nutrition and a grow guide. No plastic, no waste, no faff.
What's the difference between The Big Veg, The Petal Pop, and The Zing Ping?
Collections with their own vibes. The Big Veg are our grow-your-own vegetable kits — tomatoes, salad leaves, courgette and other reliable croppers for first-time veg growers. The Petal Pop is our flower seed kit collection — bee-friendly, dwarf blooms that actually look like the picture. The Zing Ping is our herb growing kit collection — basil, coriander, thyme, parsey and chives for windowsill chefs who want to stop buying limp supermarket herbs.
